Water For Tomorrow: California's Water, Our Responsibility
The Association of California Water Agencies and National Geographic are partnering to provide Water for Tomorrow, a publication to help California residents understand the critical water supply challenges that the state is faced with. The publication provides information on where your water comes from, its true value, and why shortages seem to be the topic of conversation lately.
Features of the first issue include an article on the importance of to conserving water inside and outside of your home and an interview with PBS Host Huell Howser on California's water system. The publication also highlights water conservation case studies, five products to help you go blue, and a fun and facts section. Features of the second issue include an article on the challenges California faces with the Delta and the importance of its revitalization to provide a sustainable water future. It also includes an article on water shortages in the farming communities and some of the solutions and/or changes farmers are exploring. Co-leader of the California Latino Water Coalition and comic Paul Rodriguez is also interviewed to discuss his active involvement in water issues. Gardens of Ideas for Water Conservation Video Available Now! 

To help local residents use less water outdoors, the San Diego County Water Authority is offering a free 30-minute video that provides various gardening and water-conservation tips.

The Frugal Waterer Video

To help local residents use less water around the house, Helix Water District is offering a free video chock-full of water-saving tips.
